Initial Thoughts:

I have this deal with my wife, she picks a movie and I pick one. This was her pick, I knew it was going to suck despite the fact that Bryan Cranston is an excellent actor and James Franco can be good, Still I’m a man of my word and with Xmas gift card in hand we went.

Main Points:

I won’t get into the plot. I think the serious problem with this movie is that for a comedy I barely laughed. Almost all the jokes fell flat. It’s a sad statement when a computer voice played by Kaley Cuoco (from The Big Bang Theory) gets more laughs that most of the onscreen actors. It’s a raunchy comedy that isn’t funny, is dragged out and tries to liven things up with strange cameo and really nasty language.

About the only positive thing I can say is that the house Franco’s character stayed in was really cool and I did like Keegan-Michael Key in this.

Final Thoughts:

I wouldn’t bother to see it. While I’ve seen worse movies this one is just so forgettable. I give it 5.5 out of 10 and don’t recommend it at all. If you do go please don’t bring children, due to language and sexual situations it is ages 17+.  Until next time!
