I’m going to be at a little get together for self-published authors at the A.C. Hunter Library here in St. John’s, Newfoundland. It’s happening just after Valentine’s Day, February 15th from 6:30-8:30 pm. I’ll be doing a reading from my short story collection “The Chaos Stories” and giving you a chance to purchase it, along with my 3 Newfoundland Vampire novels.
Aside from me there will be 12 other authors, so you’ll have plenty of literary delights to tickle your fancy. Here’s some details:
The event will happen on the first floor of the A.C. Hunter Library – this is the children’s library area and it is normally closed for the evening but will be open for this event only. We will use the smaller activity room to do some readings and the larger community room for the meet and greet area.
I’ll reading a short-story simply called “Robots”. It’s a story of a possible future where Disney and robots have almost taken over the world. I read it before at my book launch in October and it got plenty of laughs (and applause). So I hope if you’re in town (and can spare the time) you’ll consider coming to this celebration of local writers.
